Caudalie product review

Hey guys!

I posted on my instagram earlier in the week about my love for Caudalie skincare products and a couple of people have contacted me with a few questions, so I thought I'd go into a bit more detail about the products I own.

I first started using Caudalie back in October of last year after I went for a consultation at Another Little World. ALW is a beauty salon based in Yeovil and I had heard really positive reviews about its staff, treatments and products so I thought I'd check them out to see what they could do for me!
Unfortunately I was most definitely not blessed with the best skin genes and have always suffered with uneven, combination, blemish-prone skin!

I met with the lovely Carly, the owner of ALW, and we spoke about my skin concerns and what she thought would be the best regime for me to get the results I was looking for. Luckily, there was quite a lot she could offer me and at a very reasonable price! Sign me up baby!

I was introduced to CACI (Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument) which is basically a facial that uses a variety of soft, cotton-tipped wands on the skin to transmit the micro-current energy to the facial muscles to restore tone and elasticity. What a mouthful!
In reality, it's just a very relaxing facial using really lovely smelling products.

I started going for CACI facials on a weekly basis for about a month, then I dropped down to one every two weeks, then one every three weeks, and so on.
Alongside this, I started to gradually add various Caudalie products to my skincare regime at home to maximise and speed up my results!
Caudalie offers a wide selection of products to suit various skincare needs so it is definitely worth checking out their website here for more information.

So, first up is my Instant Foaming Cleanser: This is a really lovely face wash to use, it feels super smooth on my skin even though it pumps out into a foam. It lathers up quite well and you literally only need one small pump to cover your whole face and neck. I use this twice a day.
This was the first product of Caudalie that I purchased and I noticed how much brighter my skin looked in such a short amount of time of me using it. I was so pleased and I knew from then that this range would actually do what it states on the bottle! #winning

My second purchase was the Micellar Cleansing Water: I wanted something to remove my make up as I KNOW that make up wipes just aint good for dat skin!
This smells divine and removes every scrap of make up, although admittedly, takes some time to remove waterproof mascara. I really like this product, however I did go through the bottle quite quickly so I have now recently switched to Cetaphil to remove my make up and then follow up with all my Caudalie products afterwards. I do wear quite a lot of make up daily so I'm sure most people probably wouldn't go through it as quickly as I did!

Next up are my little collection of masks! I have the Purifying Mask, the Instant Detox Mask, the Glycolic Peel and the Moisturizing Mask.

I like to use these once in the week and then also on a relaxing Sunday evening to recharge my skin and tackle any blemishes that may have been caused by a booze-fuelled weekend with the girls. (Don't judge me, it happens to the best of us, amiright?)
Obviously I don't use them all at once but I do mix and match two at a time on different areas of my face to really tailor these masks to suit my needs.

As you can see from the example images, I would place one of the masks on my t-zone (usually the Detox or Glycolic) and another mask on the rest of my face (the Purifying or Moisturising). This way I am meeting the specific needs of each area of my skin! Pretty simple yeah?

I am really pleased with the masks, they definitely make a difference to my skin and you can't ask for much more than that can ya?! My skin feels smoother, and is definitely less congested after use.

Next up is my Vinoperfect Radiance Moisturizer: The Vinoperfect range was specifically picked for me by Carly during my consultation. This product is very lightweight and can be smoothed onto the skin easily. As well as moisturising, it diminishes skin concerns, tightens pores, decreases imperfections and has an SPF of 20.. A necessity in anyones make up bag I think! It also comes in a tinted version so you can take the leap and rid yourself of foundation! (Only if you wish).
I use this after I have washed my face with the Foaming Cleanser and before I apply my make up in the mornings.

Lastly, I have the Vinoperfect Radiance Serum: This is probably my favourite item! It is silky smooth to apply and I have noticed a huge difference in my skins evenness and overall radiance.
This is the most I have spent on a skincare product but I feel it is definitely worth the money, and a little of it goes a long way!
I apply this to my face and neck in the mornings and evenings after I have washed with the Foaming Cleanser.

So, I think that might be everything I can tell you right now! Obviously I am no skincare guru or anything and I still have a long way to go until I am confident enough to bare a make up-free face in public, but I will be continuing with my CACI facials and using my Caudalie products.. and of course trying to get in as much water daily as possible!
Due to before and after photos taken by Carly at each of my appointments, I am able to see a great improvement in the tone and texture of my skin since my first visit so I'm really pleased and would definitely recommend the facials, or at least a consultation to see if it is the right thing for you.

I hope that you guys have found this slightly helpful and I can most definitely answer any further questions you have. Feel free to leave a comment below or via social media and I will get back to you!
Please note, this is not a sponsored post in any way and these are genuinely the skincare products I use on a daily basis.
